Fair maiden Hyper and Mischievous and floral water marble decal

Introduction

Good day darlings. I continue to use my Fair maiden Rainbow brights for water marble. This time I combined blue and green colors for floral design on middle and ring finger. These flowers turned out really pretty, but I had to cut them to fit my nails. On index and pinky i did simple french which was super easy, I applied one stroke of green Mischievous on top of semi-dry blue Hyper, let it dry and topped with Rainbow juice Enchanted polish.

Mosaic water marble nail design with Pipe dream polish

Introduction

Good day darlings. Today I have another crazy water marble. This time it was created using Pipe dream polish. This polish does water marble fantastically and gives prefect super clear circles. But I was really fascinated by green bubbles appearing through orange and decided to use this effect for my design. If you are interested in the video tutorial check out my IG. I let water marble dry and applied it as decals. Finally, I added some Japaneses mosaic stamping on top and it really changed this look. Sinful colors Cream pink and dotting water marble nail art "Pink dotting marble"

Introduction

Good day darlings. Today's challenge for #watermarblepracticewednesday was to in incorporate dots. Well... I literally made water marble with dots and it was the most interesting WM idea I ever tried. I'made video tutorial to show you how exactly i droped polish in the water (Figure 4). Obviously I had to let WM dry and make decals out of it otherwise dots would be ruined. It dried in the cup for 24 hours before I made decals. I was delighted to see how it turned out, and took pictures right away. Unfortunately it never dried completely and after waking up in the morning I could see many dents and surface became uneven, what a disappointment. Next time, I'll try different polish and see if it will dry better.

Good day darlings. Today I have review of another stamping plate from Born pretty store BPL-23. This plate is super sweet it has images of various candies, fruits and drinks and can be used any time, as well as for some holiday themed manis. There are full nail images (size 15 x 21 mm) and small individual images, best of all they correlate between each other. For my design I made stamping decals from large image with tea cups for index and pinky. On the rest of my fingers I did gradient and stamped 3 different images on top. This combination turned out really pretty and I'm definitely going to use this plate in the future. Miniature water marble tutorial and best designs of 2015

Introduction

Good day darlings. It's time to reveal which of mine designs you loved the most. And without any doubt the most popular and most loved was miniature water marble design "Exotic flowers" from my birthday. I myself think that it definitely was very special and deserves to be on top. Since August many of you were asking if I can post a tutorial for this nail art and sure enough I promised to make it asap. LOL, little did I know about life... so many things happened after my birthday, including my unexpected 2.5 month vacation in Russia, that I could not find time to make it. But I always remembered about it and finally the tutorial is ready. The most important part is to use small dish for water marble and wait for it to dry completely before taking it out. This can take several hours as in a small dish polish does not spread a lot and water marble becomes quite thick. There is an advantage of slow drying, you can take more time to draw your design and colors stay really vivid. Hopefully you will like it and find it helpful. And at the end I also included collage with five of my most popular nail designs of Instagram.

Nail art with miniature water marble floral design using Picture polish Lakodom, Coral reef and Chillax "Exotic flowers"

Introduction

Good day darlings, very special nail art today :) I did this water marble design for Picture Polish contest, but unfortunately could not submit it as an entry, because I learned that water marble was not considered a free hand. I end up submitting another awesome free hand mani, and saved this one for a special occasion. Well, birthday is pretty special, is not it? And it also might be my last post for a while, because I'm going on vacation until the end of September. Do not worry, I hope to be able to a write post from time to time and upload some nail art on Instagram, you can check it out here. 

Now back to the mani, which might be my all time favorite. Did you ever made water marble so beautiful that you wished to put the whole thing on one nail? I know,  I did, and that's why I came up with miniature water marble technique. Unfortunately, there was no time to make a tutorial, but if there will be an interest I'm going to make a separate more technical post with video and pictures of how to make it. Water marble decals with neon Indie polish "The brighter - the better"

Introduction

Neon water marbles are one of the hottest trends currently and I was really sad because of my no buy I could not get any new polish, to try it. Not for long though, just until I realized that neon matte collection which I bought during winter could be good for marbling. And my intuition was right, they marbled perfectly (Figure 1 and 2)!!! I used 1 coat of yellow  Don't forget the sunscreen as a background and made water marble decals for all fingers except ring finger. I tried this technique before with Picture polish and loved how clean it's compared to regular water marble. This time I took photo of dried marble to show you (Figure 2, last two pictures), is not it cool?  For my ring finger I used regular dip in method and it also worked fine, but I noticed that marble got more stretched and a bit less vivid, which was not surprising since you push on the marble to get it on your nail. Making water marble decals also allows to achieve perfect positioning and saves a lot of polish. I love this bright final look and how neon green and pink became warmer due to the yellow background.

30 Days of Colour: Picture polish Escapade and Chillax watermarble "Malachite nails"

Introduction

I was really looking forward for Holo/watermarble day in 30 Days of Colour challenge, because I did not use this technique since December and was excited to try making decals from watermarble. This idea of drying watermarble and cutting it into deals is just super smart (link to video tutorial at the end of my blog) and it makes this awesome type of nail art so much easier. Also for a long time I wanted to use my teal Picture polishes Escapade and Chillax to make malachite nails, and this was a perfect way to do it. Both polishes spread in water really well, they mixed a bit, but it was perfect for the look which I wanted. But of course I was too excited to let it dry and started to pick up marble too early (after couple hours), as a result portion of it got stuck together. However, I put it back into the water and waited overnight, it dried perfectly and I made decals for three nails. I used only two of them, because they looked awesome together. There was one coat of Escapade before I applied decals, just to ensure perfect coverage and two coats on fingers without decals. These nails are dream come true for me!!!

"Spring butterflies" with natural beauty by Emily de Molly

Introduction

Last week I joined lovely ladies who show their stamping nail arts every Saturday and today as a part of this group I share with you my "Spring butterflies". Base color is gorgeous nude polish from Emily de Molly - Natural beauty. Butterfly's decals are colored with three Crows toes polishes. I wanted to achieve soft, delicate and tender look to complement Natural beauty. The final result was a bit hard to photograph, but looks like it worked out nicely.

Nail art "Angelfish" with Pshiiit by Picture polish, Bundle monster and MoYou plates

Introduction:

Today I want to show very special nail art, called "Angelfish". It's special because I did it for my mom when she visited me in Canada for the first time this December. When I was growing up we had an aquarium with different fish types, but with time only one couple of Angelfish remained, they lived for many years and grew really big.  I love how graceful they are with long elegant fins. Watching fish in the aquarium is so relaxing and creating this nail art for y mom was really fun, I enjoyed it so much. Also her nail beds are so much better than mine, it would be great to have her hands. And finally, did I mention that Picture polish Pshiiit is simply the best for aquatic background?

Picture polish LakoDom and MoYou London Suki 01 - "Blooming sakura"

Introduction

This nail art was done long time ago, as soon as I received first MoYou London plates,  a generous gift from my sister. But only now I found time to make a proper post with multiple pictures. The timing is also perfect, because spring is in the air and these nails with "Blooming sakura" highlight freshness and tenderness of delicate spring flowers.  One day I hope to travel to Japan and see blooming sakura in person. Till then I'm happy to recreate this beauty on my nails with the help of gorgeous MoYou plates and wonderful LakoDom by Picture Polish.

St. Valentine day is over, but I could not miss opportunity to create Valentine's nails for the HPB group to which I was accepted only recently. ABC challenge: Army of one (CBL) + Avocado (MdU) "Pandas life"

Introduction

Today I'm going to post first entry for the new challenge. It's a ABC challenge and it's about using untried polish in alphabetical order. First letter is "A" and I used Army of one and Avocado to create this panda nail art.

Winter nail art challenge: Santa/Elf/Reindeer

Introduction:

Today' s theme was Santa/Elf/Reindeer and I chose to make free had reindeer after I saw super cute decals on Etsy (link at the end of my post). Usually I create nail art one day ahead, but yesterday I was too busy making turkey. I was a bit worried, that there will be not enough time to create this look, however it turned out to be really easy to make. Little Christmas tree on my pinky I made without any practice, which is not my usual approach :) I hope you like my reindeer nicely decorated for Christmas.

Winter nail art challenge: Tinsel/Ornaments

Introduction:

Christmas is nearing end only three entries left. Today, I made christmas ornament using pastel colors peach and lilac. I really like how delicate this mani looks. I'm not super good with stamping placement, so I created decals and it really helped to center ornaments. Also, by making decals I was able to add background lilac color.

September Nail Art Challenge: Stamping Month! Day 16: Rainbow

Introduction:

I love rainbows, whenever I see one it make me feel happy and I always look for them if the weather is right. However creating rainbow on the nails is quite challenging. I wanted to make it bright rainbow rather then pastel, so creating decal with all bright colors was an obvious choice.

September Nail Art Challenge: Stamping Month! Day 4: Food

Introduction:

Today, the theme is food. And I decided to make colorful citrus mani using my first ever nail polish collection from Zoya "Irresistible". I love all bright colors of polish in this collection and their foil finish. Basically, these polishes, which I got in October 2013 became a foundation of my entire collection, which now is more than 100 bottles. And it's not even a year since I started to collect them.... ohh well, they are liquid beauties in the bottles, who can resist? Definitely not me ;)
