Good day darlings. February 5th is a birthday of amazing Danette creator of The Don Deeva polish. So I had to make this cute Birthday nail art specially for her. Of course I used polish from Lost my marbles collection, which she sent me for review a while ago. And I  finally can show you another awesome feature of this polish. It blends so perfectly and you can make new colors easily. On my ring finger I used yellow and pink to create wonderful orange color.

40 great nail art ideas: Films and glow in the dark "Dragon Haku" nail art

Introduction

Good day darlings. As soon as I saw "Films" prompt at 40 great nail art ideas, I knew that I'm going to make nail art inspired by one of my favorite anime movies "Spirited away" created by Hayao Miyazaki. One of the main characters in this Japanese fantasy is dragon named Haku, the spirit of the river. I adore him and luckily his image is included in the Miyazaki inspired stamping plate set from HeHe, which I bought as soon as it was released and use constantly. And I though it would be a nice opportunity to try my glow in the dark polish from Dance legend. Pink base polish is thermal and it was hard to decide which state I like more as a background. With pale pink it looked like fine delicate silk for vintage kimono, but images popped more on a bright pink background. I know one thing though, in the dark I could not stop looking at my nails. It was so fascinating to see different colors glow.

Glitter placement lead lighting with The Don Deeva collection Lost my marbles "Floral glitter lighting"

Good day darlings. I know you really loved my Christmas glitter placement and I also enjoyed wearing it so much. That's why I decided to make another design with glitter placement. And because it was not time consuming enough, I combined it with individual glitter lead lighting. I call it glitter lighting for short, omg... did I just invent new nail art technique??? And I just had to add some stamping on top, I'm a real stampaholic after all. For lead lighting I used outstanding neon jellies from The Don Deeva collection called Lost my marbles. They also water marble and have shimmer inside, wow. Before I used OPI tints for lead lighting and it was a pain, because as top coats they are quite sticky and if you are not quick enough tend to form tiny filaments, sort of like melted cheese. I hated it. There is no such problem with Lost my marbles, as they glide right on and covered each glitter effortlessly, I was super impressed. It was such a pleasure to lead light with them. 30 Days of Colour: Fimo fruit nail art with leadlighting using OPI sheer tints "Glazed fruits"

Introduction

Today is Mother's day and we were supposed to use white/leadlighting for 30 Days of Colour challenge. I really wanted to do something special, as this is my first Mother's day as a mom and decided to be creative with leadlighting and combine it not with stamping, but with fimo fruits. Why fruits? Because they are a good natural source of vitamins and vitamins are so important for healthy baby development. Also these nails look bright and fun, like a delicious glazed fruits that kid would love to eat ;) Happy Mother's day everyone, and if your mom is not with you, I wish your day to be full of sweat memories.

30 Days of Colour: Lead light stamping "Dancing beauty"

Introduction

Day 12 is about jelly polish and I want to show nail art done with leadlight stamping technique. It's called "Dancing beauty" and was inspired by my best friend, we know each other more than 16 years and she is amazing ballroom dancer and teacher. I had this idea about a month ago and was waiting for my nails to grow long enough. The main challenge in this  art was to make stained-glass windows around dancer and flower, as I did not have stamping image of widow with space. So I had to make stamping decal and cut it into pieces to combine different parts of windows into one with the space in the middle. Also, the stamping image which I used for windows was asymmetrical and it was super hard to position it, as it never looked straight.  Nevertheless, I really like final result and sparkle of Dark crystal on the background makes it even more special.
