Femme fatale March hare and Infamous riddle swatch

Introduction

Good day darlings. I'm back from my vacation and finally have time to write a blog post. You will find below two gorgeous Femme fatale polishes from Mad Tea-party collection. First one is olive green with orange shimmer called Infamous riddle. This polish is very unique and looks great on my fingers. I applied two coats of this polish, took pictures and realized that it would be a great base for March hare. Therefore, one coat was sufficient to show all the beauty of this golden-brown polish full of holographic microglitters and intense green shimmer. Finally, I could not resist and added stamping design combined with some dotting to complement these pretties. Love how glitters sparkle behind stamped image. Check out my IG for video tutorial.

Emily de Molly Calibrated and purple holographic glitter placement

Introduction

Good day darlings. I have another glitter placement design this time with holographic purple and gold glitters. Perfect background for this glitter is wonderful Emily de Molly polish - Calibrated. I could not resist and added some swatch pictures below. Calibrated is a purple jelly, but since it's full of multichrome flakies two coats were enough for full coverage. Oh and another important step, instead of regular base polish I used transparent peel of base and removal was super easy. Looks like glitter placement is going to be one of my favorite techniques.

Fair maiden Hyper and Mischievous and floral water marble decal

Introduction

Good day darlings. I continue to use my Fair maiden Rainbow brights for water marble. This time I combined blue and green colors for floral design on middle and ring finger. These flowers turned out really pretty, but I had to cut them to fit my nails. On index and pinky i did simple french which was super easy, I applied one stroke of green Mischievous on top of semi-dry blue Hyper, let it dry and topped with Rainbow juice Enchanted polish.

HPB presents: Enchanted polish Majestic swatch and free hand "Little penguin" nail art

Introduction

Good day darlings. This month for HPB blog link-up we are showing our first indie brands. It might surprise you, but my first purchased indie brand was Enchanted polish. At that time I did not even know it was an indie brand (I did not know what "indie polish" is). I just saw that on FB page of my online nail polish store NPC everyone was excited about upcoming restock of elusive Enchanted polish and discussed how hard it's to get them (this was autumn 2013 and Enchanteds were in very high demand). I decided to try it for myself and get some of this polish. My first restock was quite successful Afternoon delight and Time to pretend, both are fantastic colors. Now my collection of Enchanted polish is expanded and includes some rare beauties such as Gummy worm. My choice for this link-up is Majestic - grey holo with lilac undertone. It's a very pretty shade and it became a perfect background for "Little penguin" free and nail art, inspired by my little boy. Pictures were taken shortly after Andy turned one year and I loved his cute face and outfit so much that I promised myself to create matching nail art. It took me very long to find courage and paint it free hand, but I'm super happy with results.

All stamped images are from love themed Marianne plate 67. I only added word LOVE and little black heart from Pueen 43 plate on my ring finger. And I could not resist and threw in some sparkle using holographic microglitter. Short video tutorial will be posted on my IG. Wishing all of you a Wanderlast ful weekend.

Born pretty scale vinyls review and coupon code "Rainbow mermaid"

Introduction

Contains press sample
Good day darlings. Today I want to share review of nail vinyls from Born pretty store. They do not look like regular vinyls, but more like holo stickers and that's what is actually written on the package. But it's incredibly easy to work with them and the holo finish is so pretty to look at (Figure 2).  There are 12 sticker in the package (size 21 x 25 mm). You have to cut them, it's pretty easy to do following guide lines. On my medium size nails I was able to use half of the sticker per nail and it was just perfect. This vinyls stick really well to the polish and it's super easy to remove them as  whole piece. Some of the other brand vinyls which I used before would tear apart while removing them, no such problem here. I highly recommend this product, it's on sale currently only 1,99 $ and you  can also use my coupon code PHDX31 to get 10% from entire store. Oh, and do not forget to check out video tutorial for Rainbow mermaid nails, which I did using these scale vinyls and Lost my marbles from The Don Deeva polish.

Femme fatale Color4nails exclusive Ouija and Asphalt flowers nail art

Introduction

Good day darlings. Combined post for today. Swatch of incredibly beautiful holo glitter Ouija - Color4nails exclusive from Femme Fatale and nail art which I did with this polish as a base. Ouija has a dark grey base and is packed with holographic glitters, easy to apply and super sparkly. For nail art I used Croco polish from Russian brand Nail look, it cracks with very beautiful patterns, but you have wait about 4 minutes before application to let base polish semi dry. To finish this design I added some flowers using dotting tool, you can take a look at my video tutorial at the end of this post.

Introduction

Good day darlings. Nasty winter Sunday here, so I decided to cheer it up with Butterfly design using wonderful purple holo glitter Ivana Shagalot from The Brothel collection The Don Deeva polish and MoYou London Kitty plate full of butterfly designs. I wanted to use them all, but had to choose only two, one is a butterfly wing on my index, middle and pinky and second is little butterflies for ring finger and thumb. Nail art with colorful foil stamping fireworks "Happy 2016"

Introduction

Good day darlings. I could not resist and made another firework stamping to celebrate new year. I was inspired by awesome blogger Zlata and used multicolor foil with added round glitter on top to write 2016. Unfortunately after glitter placement, fireworks became less bright, luckily I took some pictures before. If you are interested how I do foils stamping take a look at my video tutorial. So many people ask me about it and what are the trick which I use, that I decided to make a Foil stamping troubleshooting tutorial, with pictures and real time videos. It's gonna take me some time to put all info together, but I hope to post it this month.

"New year's fireworks" with holographic foil stamping

Introduction

Good day darlings. New year is just around the corner, so I could not resist and made firework nail design using holo foil stamping. In the shade it looks just like gold stamping, but in the sun you can actually see those hypnotic folo beams and they become real fireworks. I used wonderful Pet'la plate for this design (fireworks), turns out it has perfect etching for foil stamping. My stamping polish was Konad Black pearl and top coat Revolution by Picture polish. Oh and background is fantastic dark teal August 2014 from Enchanted polish, although you can not see all its beauty covered by fireworks. Also I made another video tutorial for you. Happy new year !!!

Miniature water marble tutorial and best designs of 2015

Introduction

Good day darlings. It's time to reveal which of mine designs you loved the most. And without any doubt the most popular and most loved was miniature water marble design "Exotic flowers" from my birthday. I myself think that it definitely was very special and deserves to be on top. Since August many of you were asking if I can post a tutorial for this nail art and sure enough I promised to make it asap. LOL, little did I know about life... so many things happened after my birthday, including my unexpected 2.5 month vacation in Russia, that I could not find time to make it. But I always remembered about it and finally the tutorial is ready. The most important part is to use small dish for water marble and wait for it to dry completely before taking it out. This can take several hours as in a small dish polish does not spread a lot and water marble becomes quite thick. There is an advantage of slow drying, you can take more time to draw your design and colors stay really vivid. Hopefully you will like it and find it helpful. And at the end I also included collage with five of my most popular nail designs of Instagram.

The Don Deeva polish The Brothel collection swatches and review

Introduction
Press sample

Good day darlings. Today I have swatches of wonderful glitters from The Don Deeva polish collection called The Brothel. These glitters not only look stunning, but they also watermarble easily. You can check out my Candy cane design to see it for yourself. The formula is very smooth and pleasantly thin, non surprising for polish which water marbles. These glitters glide on your nail effortlessly, such an easy application, I love it! Unfortunately some really large glitters are sinking. The good news is that shaking of the bottle helps to mix most of them back. In spite of thin formula these glitters are fully packed with holographic particles, flakies, microglitters and glitters of various shapes and sizes. For my swatches I applied two easy coats on top of the nude peel of base and covered them with Seche vite top coat. Let's look at each  polish individually.

December macro challenge: Vermillion vagabond Femme Fatale swatch

Introduction

Good day darlings. It's Monday again and I want to show my red/holo swatch for December macro challenge. I did these swatches during summer and never had a chance to share them. I tried to capture all aspects of this complex polish and hopefully you will enjoy my pictures.

Emily de Molly Corsetry and stamping nail art with MM24 "Black feather - red ink"

Introduction

Good day darlings. Here is my last design for November Clairestelle8 challenge and another entry for stamping Saturday. The prompt was feathers and I decided to stamp huge feather across 4 nails. Black feather, red ink - does not it look intriguing? What are these words about - love or murder or maybe both? And of course do not miss holo sparkle of Corsetry (color4nails exclusive EDM polish) on macros.

When colours collide: Zodiac nail art with vertical gradient using Enchanted polish

Introduction
Good day darlings. Today I want to share my zodiac mani for collaboration project "When colours collide". I did not have any zodiac stamping plates, so I had to do a free hand... To compensate for simple zodiac signs drawing I attempted vertical gradient with lots of holo polishes, well it does not really look like a gradient, boo.... The zodiacs on each finger correspond to my family members. Leo is my mom and me, Taurus - my dad and sister, Pisces my hubby and Virgo is for my baby boy :) Firstly, I created gradient on each nail and topped them with 7 nations army holo glitter. Next, I made decals of each zodiac sign and applied them and finally I added my favorite holo topper Djinn in the bottle. Voila, lots of holo sparkle and so colourful. In addition, I used same polish to create mandala design on my thumb for macro challenge.

Picture polish Bette and dotting nail art "Flowers or snow?"

Introduction

Good day darlings. Finally, a non stamping nail design. Delicate dotting nail art for #clairestellechallenge. I used 2 coats of Bette as background on middle and ring fingers and thumb, on top I drew a floral design using tiny brush and medium dotting tool. On index finger and pinky I made diagonal gradient using Bette, White wedding and Chillax. Finally, I added white dots everywhere using acrylic paint and super tiny dotting tool. I hoped that tiny white dots will look like pollen, instead it reminds me of snow, ahahha. Henсe, I'm note sure if it's more floral or snowy ?
