40 great nail art ideas:3 shades of green Mermaid dry marble nail design

Introduction

Good day darlings. My prompt for 40 great nail art ideas was scale/mermaid design. I decided to combine dry marble and stamping to create mermaid nails with 3 different shades of green polish. It was a first time I tried dry marble on top of the silicon mat and it definitely was easier than on the nail. Although I need to practice more, so that I can get consistent results for all nails.

Neon watercolor water marble with Fair Maiden Rainbow brights and MoYou London Pro XL14 stamping

Introduction

Good day darlings. This water marble design was done for Purple, orange and pink prompt at When colors collide. I decided to make something which would look like watercolor splashes going one into another and that's exactly how it turned out. Nude base helped to achieve color different color intensity, although it was pretty difficult to photograph neon polish. After wearing these for couple days, I added metallic purple floral stamping on top and result was really wonderful. I'm serious in love with both versions and can not choose my favorite.

Valentine's gradient stamping nail art "Kiss me" with BPL 021

Introduction

Contains press sample

Good day darlings. I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's day. Here is my last (or maybe not) love inspired design called "Kiss me". I used gradient stamping over black polish and it turned out really pretty. This couple image from BPL-021 was quite popular for Valentines manicures and I decided to make not only a video tutorial, but also a short cartoon. Both videos will be posted on my IG, check them out <3

40 great nail art ideas: 3 shades of purple half & half dotting nail desing

Introduction

Good day darlings. I'm happy to show you my second contribution to 40 great nail art ideas. This week prompt was 3 shades of purple and I had to make half & half design. The pile of my untrieds is getting significantly smaller, but I still have plenty of purples and it was a nice chance to use some of them. Because I really love how Final fantasy and Purple portion of Vincent van Gold duo look on there own, the design is rather simple. Yet it turned out so wonderful, that I was wearing these nails since Sunday !!!

Guest post at Tales of coffee lacquer and beauty plus Duck polish story

Introduction
It's a very unusual post today. First of all I want to say that you can read my guest post at Tales of coffee lacquer and beauty. Take a look, it's stamping over water marble and I was really happy to write it for Sumeet. Here is one picture, as you can see I used metallic Kleancolor polish for stamping.

Another news is that I wrote to the Born pretty store and they agreed to send me some stamping plates for review. It's very exciting, since so far I was always purchasing things myself. I'm looking forward to work with them, those BP plates which I have stamp really nice. My review post will have clear indication that these plates were a press sample, but I promise to stay truthful as usually.

Finally, there was a contest at Polish stamping plate Coop where we were supposed to create a scene using nail polish bottles. I got so carried away, that I made a whole story in four scenes.

June macro challenge: stamping nail art with Femme Fatale Who Is Fairest Of Them All? and Kleancolor Metallic red "Red flower glass"

Introduction

I made this nail art a while ago, right after I swatched Who Is Fairest Of Them All? and posted a stamping review of Kleancolor metallic polish. This was my first use of Kleancolor polish for actual nail art and I was really happy with results. However while taking macro pictures I noticed minor smear on some nails, which did not show during my swatch tests. I used same top coat, so it might be due to the background polish or not enough waiting before top coat application. Nevertheless  metallic red stamps really nice, not even tiny bits missing and bright metal finish is lovely.

Kleancolor Awesome Metallic polish stamping swatch review

Introduction

My first review of stamping polish (Mundo de unas swatches) was very successful and I finally found time to make another one. This time I chose bright metallic colors from Kleancolor polish, which you can buy on Amazon or directly on their web site kleancolor.com. I purchased Awesome metallic set with 12 polishes. All of them stamp really well, with two exceptions White polish basically gives only sparkle (Figure 4) and yellow is not very visible on white background (Figure 2). otherwise i was really happy with results. Below you can find detailed pictures with stamping over Black&White backgrounds. There is one drawback of Kleancolor polish it's known to stain nails and stampers. At the end of my review (Figure 5I show how this staining looks on transparent Creative shop stamper and you can find out which polish gives more staining. The good news is that this polish is easy to clean up from skin and nails using sticky tape. Swatch pictures (Figure 2-4) were taken under LED light lamp, so there is no variation in the light setting between them.
