40 great nail art ideas: Femme fatale Wonderland and Sea food gradient stamping

Introduction

Good day darlings. It's Friday and I have food inspired mani for 40 great nail art ideas. It's a gradient stamping of sea food from MoYou London Cook book 12 stamping plate. Background is sparkly blue with strong pink shimmer called Wonderland. This polish looked so pretty that I could not resist and took some swatch pictures. Although for stamping I used 3 different colors, you can not really see them on the pictures. I guess it was too much of different blue shades for my camera.

Good day darlings. It's already Saturday and I'm ready to share my Aqua/Turquoise design for 40 great nail art ideas collaboration. This time I was supposed to make houndstooth, tweed or plaid design, as you can see I chose plaid with a little twist. First of all background is made using two glow in the dark Dance legend polishes, their mix creates perfect base. And second on my accent nail I added heart shaped foil stamping, because Valentine's day is approaching so fast. Let me know in comments what do you think about this nail design.

Moon nails supply stamping swatch review of two collections Diva and Sexy metals, plus comparison with Mundo de Unas

Introduction

Good day darlings, it took forever, but I finally finished my review of two stamping polish collections from Moon nails supply. One of them is called Diva and has 8 bright colors, another one is Sexy metals with 8 metallics. I purchased mini bottles (5 ml), but there are also regular size bottles available (16 ml). Overall properties of Moon polish are very similar to that of Mundo de Unas (follow link to see my review of MdU polish). There are two differences, I found that Moon polish is more difficult to remove with sticky tape if you messed up stamping on your nail, but it can be done. And due to the some difference in the formula Moon polish separates more, however it's also much more easy to mix it up with simple bottle shaking or special mixer, if you have one. The smell is different, but strength is comparable to that of Mundo de unas polish.  Why bother getting Moon polish? First of all they offer some colors which are really unique, and gorgeous. For example, two metallics green Xavier and red Julio do not have analogues among Mundo de Unas colors, as well as Vincent. Second, they also offer Bissu polish of various finishes and colors, which is always in stock, unlike on MDU web site, and plenty of stamping plates, some of which are exclusive. Finally, the price is around 20$ per regular size sets and 8-9$ for mini set (you also can get individual bottles) if you buy through Facebook group Polish stamping plate Co-op, minimal shipping directly to you is 10$, at the end these is much cheaper than getting Mundo polish. Moon nails supply is based in Mexico, so shipping takes a while, but sometimes can be pretty quick (only 7 days !!! if you are in US). Unfortunately bottles come without labels, so I had to make my own. From swatches below you will see that Moon polish stamps beautiful both over black and white with couple exception (dark brown Maria is not visible on black, which is normal). I would highly recommend this polish for stamping. All swatches are shown without top coat, but from my own experience I can tell you that this polish does not smear, you can follow links to see nail designs which I made with some of the colors.

Aquatic nails with Picture polish, pearls, shells and BM 509 stamping "Blue sea treasures" for #OMD3

Introduction

Good day darlings, I have a huge post today. It combines two entries for #OMD3 challenge - Under the sea and #mynailsandmydrink, two entries for July macro challenge - gradient and nail +bottle and finally studs entry for 30 Days of Colour. How did I manage to combine all of these? I did my both hands with slightly different designs, long and short nail versions of the same sea themed mani. On the left hand I used 3 polishes for gradient, while on the right hand with shorter nails I used only two colors of Picture polish and added studs only on the accent nail. Stamping was done using silver polish from Moon nails supply called Antonio and it complements perfectly this aquatic gradient. I used both top coat and nail glue to fix studs, but they did not stay for a long time anyway. Apart from being super inconvenient to wear, I love this look a lot. This amazing gradient with silver stamping is just so perfect for the sea themed mani.

HPB presents: Crows toes Terminal Engagement with starry night sky stamping nail art "The night he was born"

Introduction

Good day darlings, this post is a combination of three different challenges July HPB blog link up "Starry night sky", 30 Days of Colour Black & White prompt and #OMD3 Star sign prompt. Also, I decided to dedicate it to my baby boy who was born 10 month ago, wow time flies... in September 2014 and his zodiac sign is Virgo. Background polish is Terminal engagement by Crows Toes and I have to say it makes perfect night sky, what a shame I waited so long to wear it, more than 6 month... Stamping was done using off white polish from Moon nails supply called Angel, what a sweet name and perfect for this nail art too. I made Virgo sign (yes it's a Virgo sign, check out last macro ;)) on my thumb using decal with glitter placement, because it would have been impossible to place them with my left hand. I love how this simple mani turned out.

Picture polish Revenge and Moon nails Jimena stamping for #OMD3 "Summer flowers"

Introduction

Good day darlings, today I have another post with Moon nails supply stamping polish. This one is a bright turquoise called Jimena and it stamps perfectly. Base color is gorgeous Picture polish Revenge and somehow they work well together. Revenge looks awesome, unfortunately duochrome effect is not very visible on nails, although it got caught on some photos. This stamping is for floral prompt at #OMD3 which I missed, and it was so much fun to create this bright and cheerful summer nail design. I would be happy to know what do you think about this combo?

Sinful colors Prosecco and reverse stamping nail art "Banana love" for #OMD3 challenge

Introduction

Hello my dear readers, today I have non conventional love nails for #OMD3 challenge. Look at this little cute monkey face, is not he happy? Of course he is, so many bananas around, that's true and pure love. Hmmm, not sure if bananas love him back, though... My base polish is Sinful color Prosecco, which was a gift from my wonderful friend Krise, thank you my dear <3 I used reverse stamping technique and stamped with Moon nails supply polish called Maria - a perfect color for this design. It stamped really well both tiny details and larger areas. Unfortunately, my reverse stamping is not very good yet and bananas do not look neat, but I hope you will forgive me. Enjoy your weekend and eat bananas, it's very good for your hearts :)

July macro challnge: Picture polish escapade and stamping with Moon nails Salma "Playful kitty"

Introduction

Hello my dear readers, very short post today for #OMD3 cat prompt and July macro challenge brush shot. I did Ruffian nails with stamping using another polish from Moon nails supply called Salma. As you can see it stamps pretty good, but dependent on the image and stamper which you use might not be super opaque over very dark polish. I used soft creative shop stamper for kitty and firm Konad for bows, looks like result is much better with Konad. Please check out escapade brush macro at the end, it's not a standard shot, but i really love how it turned out.

Nail art with Picture polish Grace and Moon nails Xavier stamping for #OMD3 "Love vine"

Introduction

Hello my dear readers, today as a part of #OMD3 challenge prompt "Leaves" I have stamping nail art with another gorgeous metallic polish from Moon nails supply. It's beautiful green color called Xavier (part of sexy metal set), which is pretty unique and does not exist among colors available from Mundo de Unas. From my macro pictures you can see that this polish stamps perfectly for both images with large areas and tiny lines. Since it's metallic, Xavier does separate in the bottle, so you have to mix it before stamping to get even and beautiful color, but it totally worth it. 30 Days of Colour: Femme Fatale Gossamer dust and reverse stamping nail art with Monn nails Ellen "Tropical delight"

Introduction

And another month is almost over, summer days are going away too fast. For glitter/tropical prompt I did tropical nails using thermal polish Gossamer dust, so that it matches June macro challenge and instead of glitter I used flaky polish the Silence. Also I tried for the first time reverse stamping, instead of making decals. It's a bit tricky, but faster than decals. I picked up stamping image, colored flowers using gorgeous orange Ellen from Moon nail supply and stamped them on not completely dry and a bit sticky layer of flakies. I had to redo couple nails, because my timing was not good, but this technique is definitely worth learning. Thank you Sumeet for telling me about it!!!  Needless to say I'm in love with result, just look at macros, shimmer, yellow to orange thermal change, flakies and stamping, this mani has it all.

Picture polish Bohemian and Paris with Moon nails stamping using Pueen 48 "Half moon coral"

Introduction

For the Stamp one, stamp all ten prompt we had to make ornate coral nails with stamping plus another nail art technique. Normally I like to combine my stamping with something else, but this time I just could not decide what to add to the combo which I had in mind - coral Paris and gold stamping. Finally I thought to try half moons for the first time. This did not work really well, because Bohemian is top sparkly for half moons and it looks untidy on pictures (my half moon is also not perfect), I guess contrast polish would be better. I finished with super tiny french tips to give it complete look. Oh and I used new stamping polish in my collection which I bought from Moon nails supply, as you can see it stamps beautifully. I bought 2 mini sets, total 16 bottles,  and some colors are really unique, so you will see more of this polish soon.
