Valentine's gradient stamping nail art "Kiss me" with BPL 021

Introduction

Contains press sample

Good day darlings. I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's day. Here is my last (or maybe not) love inspired design called "Kiss me". I used gradient stamping over black polish and it turned out really pretty. This couple image from BPL-021 was quite popular for Valentines manicures and I decided to make not only a video tutorial, but also a short cartoon. Both videos will be posted on my IG, check them out <3

40 great nail art ideas: Picture polish Wanderlust swatch and stamping nail art "Love affair"

Introduction

Good day darlings. This Friday our theme for 40 great nail art ideas was Love, and I used the pinkest and also newest polish in my collection Wanderlust. Two coats for a perfect coverage. Take a look at swatches, is not it gorgeous? Wearing Wanderlust is so easy to wander straight into love with this polish. Now back to the design... All stamped images are from love themed Marianne plate 67. I only added word LOVE and little black heart from Pueen 43 plate on my ring finger. And I could not resist and threw in some sparkle using holographic microglitter. Short video tutorial will be posted on my IG. Wishing all of you a Wanderlast ful weekend.

HPB presents: Gradient stamping "Yellow daisies"

Introduction

Good day darlings. This is my entry for January HPB link up with theme - gradient. I decided to do a gradient stamping. Background for this stamping is shattered glass inspired by Sveta Sanders using dried flakie polish cut into pieces. It turned out quite nice, but only after second attempt. For gradient stamping I choose floral images and two yellow polishes. Gradient turned out subtle, but I love how flowers show up on background and how flakies sparkle giving it a 3D look.

Born pretty stamping plate BPL-23 review and coupon code.

Introduction

Press sample
Good day darlings. Today I have review of another stamping plate from Born pretty store BPL-23. This plate is super sweet it has images of various candies, fruits and drinks and can be used any time, as well as for some holiday themed manis. There are full nail images (size 15 x 21 mm) and small individual images, best of all they correlate between each other. For my design I made stamping decals from large image with tea cups for index and pinky. On the rest of my fingers I did gradient and stamped 3 different images on top. This combination turned out really pretty and I'm definitely going to use this plate in the future. If you are interested in BPL 023 it's currently on sale (only 3.99$), also fell free to use my coupon code PHDX31 to get 10% from entire store.

Ivana Shagalot The Don Deeva and stamping nail art "Winter butterflies"

Introduction

Good day darlings. Nasty winter Sunday here, so I decided to cheer it up with Butterfly design using wonderful purple holo glitter Ivana Shagalot from The Brothel collection The Don Deeva polish and MoYou London Kitty plate full of butterfly designs. I wanted to use them all, but had to choose only two, one is a butterfly wing on my index, middle and pinky and second is little butterflies for ring finger and thumb. I love that this design turned out so airy like real butterflies.

The Don Deeva polish The Brothel collection swatches and review

Introduction
Press sample

Good day darlings. Today I have swatches of wonderful glitters from The Don Deeva polish collection called The Brothel. These glitters not only look stunning, but they also watermarble easily. You can check out my Candy cane design to see it for yourself. The formula is very smooth and pleasantly thin, non surprising for polish which water marbles. These glitters glide on your nail effortlessly, such an easy application, I love it! Unfortunately some really large glitters are sinking. The good news is that shaking of the bottle helps to mix most of them back. In spite of thin formula these glitters are fully packed with holographic particles, flakies, microglitters and glitters of various shapes and sizes. For my swatches I applied two easy coats on top of the nude peel of base and covered them with Seche vite top coat. Let's look at each  polish individually.

Emily de Molly Corsetry and stamping nail art with MM24 "Black feather - red ink"

Introduction

Good day darlings. Here is my last design for November Clairestelle8 challenge and another entry for stamping Saturday. The prompt was feathers and I decided to stamp huge feather across 4 nails. Black feather, red ink - does not it look intriguing? What are these words about - love or murder or maybe both? And of course do not miss holo sparkle of Corsetry (color4nails exclusive EDM polish) on macros.

Stamping Saturday: Acrylic rainbow nail art with Mundo de Unas stamping using Marianne 67 plate "Summer rain"

Introduction

Good day darlings, today I wanna show "Summer rain", which I made for Russian challenge (#лакоавгуст2015), #clairestelle8august gradient prompt and #stampingSaturday.  I used acrylic paint to create background rainbow gradient using blob technique, because summer rain usually involves rainbow. And I stamped silhouette flowers and romantic couple under umbrella using black Mundo de Unas polish and some of my new Marianne plates. It did not turn out exactly like I imagined, but I love this bright and colorful nail design anyway. I used wet mirror as a prop to show this nail art at it's best. Do you have a feeling of refreshing midday summer shower  while looking at it, or it's just me?

HPB presents: Crows toes Terminal Engagement with starry night sky stamping nail art "The night he was born"

Introduction

Good day darlings, this post is a combination of three different challenges July HPB blog link up "Starry night sky", 30 Days of Colour Black & White prompt and #OMD3 Star sign prompt. Also, I decided to dedicate it to my baby boy who was born 10 month ago, wow time flies... in September 2014 and his zodiac sign is Virgo. Background polish is Terminal engagement by Crows Toes and I have to say it makes perfect night sky, what a shame I waited so long to wear it, more than 6 month... Stamping was done using off white polish from Moon nails supply called Angel, what a sweet name and perfect for this nail art too. I made Virgo sign (yes it's a Virgo sign, check out last macro ;)) on my thumb using decal with glitter placement, because it would have been impossible to place them with my left hand. I love how this simple mani turned out.

30 Days of Colour: Stamping nail art using plate EDM 08 "Mysterious Egypt"

Introduction

This is my last June post and it's an entry for pastel/stamping prompt in 30 Days of Colour challenge. This nail art was inspired by gorgeous nails created by super talented Nailzcraze. Just looking at them you might think of Katty Perry's Dark horse music video, and that's where original idea comes from. However, I was not super impressed, by this video, but I fell in love with Natalie's nails the moment I saw them. It took very long for me before I made my version of this look. First of all I had to grow unusually long nails and second there were 2 unsuccessful attempts, before I managed to create something worth showing. Gradient was created using dry brush technique with my favorite black - Licorice by Essie and frame was done using MdU black, because it's easier to apply with detail brush. All stamping images come from Emily de molly plate EDM 08. My photos are not as breathtaking as original, but I'm pretty happy with result.

30 Days of Colour: Indie polish neon watermarble and Mundo de Unas stamping with MoYou Explorer 23 "African masks"

Introduction

My second June entry for 30 Days of Colour challenge Neon/splatter is a actually a stamping over neon water marble, so no splatter part. Water marble was done using decal technique, you can find detail in the original post. I was not sure which king of stamping to do and used African tribal masks from MoYou Explorer plate. It looks rather unusual, and I can not decide how I feel about this mani. My favorite is ring finger with sad mask, even though this stamping image makes nail look a bit crooked.

30 Days of Colour: nail art with Femme Fatale Mirror, mirror on the wall and peacock Chez Delaney stamping "Silver peacocks"

Introduction

It's a new month and I continue to follow 30 Days of Colour challenge, feel free to join us and use tag #30daysofcolourchallenge. You can find list of prompts for June at the end of my post. For the first day we  supposed to do Silver/negative space mani and I chose to show silver nails with peacock stamping. My base polish is gorgeous silver/holo glitter  Mirror, mirror on the wall, but pictures below are not very color accurate. You can take a look at my swatches to see how it looks indoor and outdoor, in reality it's less blue and more silver. If you look carefully you also will notice that two peacocks have different thickness of lines, this is because I had to use different stampers in order to flip image. It's a first time I notice that stamper affected line thickness. I loved how this mani looked in real life, but my photos are not perfectly focused, I guess due to extreme shine. At the same time macros are really good, so keep scrolling until you see them.

Emily de Molly Third edition and stamping nail art "Silver and black splatter" BM416

Introduction

Today I want to show simple splatter stamping on top of the gorgeous Emily de Molly polish called Third edition, which I swatched some time ago. Stamping images comes from Bundle Monster plate BM - 416 and since my nails were small compare to image I tried to rotate and shift it to get different splatters on all nails. Silver flaky background makes this nails look interesting even on super close macro pictures, it's really nice to see tiny flakes, glitters and sparkles mixed with stamping.

Indie polish Drinks with umbrellas, stamping over neon pink "Neon pink zebra roses"

Introduction

This mani is a bit of a failure, because it looks like neon pink zebra, while stamping image actually had roses, but it's really hard to recognize them. I swatched this bright pink matte polish with a cute name Drinks with umbrellas long time ago (here) and thought that it's a perfect base for bright roses. Sadly due to the small size of my nails roses got lost. Not every stamping turns out as you imaging it, especially over glitter and there was a layer of glitter Ode to the elite for extra sparkle. How is your success with stamping over glitter, do you have any tips? Please share your thoughts in comments.

30 Days of Colour: Zoya Domiva swatch

Introduction

My choice of random polish actually was restricted, because I wanted to combine it with last day of ABC challenge and use polish starting with "Z". So I randomly picked up one of untried Zoyas - Domiva. It's a black matte polish with beautiful shimmer and I absolutely love how it looks and feels on my nails. This polish is great choice for nail art background, instead of boring black creams.

30 Days of Colour: Emily de Molly Abstract canvas swatch

Introduction

Day 27 of Colour challenge is untried, hmmm most of the polishes I showed were untrieds. So for today, I chose Emily de Molly glitter, which I loved in the bottle, and on swatches, but never knew which kind of base color to use - Abstract canvas. In the beginning of this challenge after swatching Good life, I decided to add Abstract canvas on top and this accidental combo looked super nice.  Black and gold with a bit of color. Next time I have to use Abstract canvas for nail art, it's a beautiful glitter.

30 Day of Colour: Emmily de Molly Dark crystal

Introduction

It's a second week of daily challenge and today's color is black. I'm rarely excited about posting swatches, because my heart belongs to nail art, however today is an exception. I love  my swatches of Dark crystal. This polish was used couple times as a background for nail art, but I never wore it on it's own. It's a black polish how different it could be from other blacks? To me it's the most elegant and enchanting black polish. Millions of tiny holographic micro glitters sparkle on my nails as stars in the night sky. Even though this black jelly requires 3 coats, it's totally worth it.
